AMP 2010 TORONTO
 "International Workshop on Ageing-Management of Nuclear Power Plants and Waste Disposal Structures" - EFC Event 334 - November 7 to 10, 2010, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

After the success of the NUCPERF 2006 and 2009 workshops on "Long-Term Performance of Reinforced Concrete in Nuclear Power Plants and Waste Disposal Facilities" (Cadarache, France, April 2006 and April 2009) and the AEN/CSNI Workshop on "Ageing management of thick walled concrete structures" (Prague, October 2008), the organizers and the sponsoring organizations are focusing on the ageing management programmes for safety related reinforced concrete structures and components of NPP and Waste Disposal facilities.


The AMP2010 International workshop is jointly organised by Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL) and the French "Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique" (CEA).


The workshop is a part of the following committees:

  • RILEM Technical Committee “Concrete in the context of the nuclear management” (TC 226-CNM)
  • Committee on the Safety of Nuclear Installations - Working Group on Integrity of Components and Structures (NEA/CSNI/IAGE)
  • Working Parties “Nuclear Corrosion” and “Corrosion in Concrete” of the European Federation of Corrosion.
